There are buses that regularly go to and from San Jose and Quepos.  The direct bus takes about three and a half hours and leaves from the "CocaCola" bus station in market area of downtown San Jose.  This is a trip recommended only for seasoned travellers in Costa Rica.  Returning to the airport from Quepos is much easier by bus.  Ask our concierge service for details.
